Tribute to Tricia Johnson-McDuffie

Patricia Saville Johnson-McDuffie, 47, was called to Heaven on July 9,2008, born on October 2, 1960.

She was exceptionally creative and artistic. Her passion was writing and her dream to become a published author was just within reach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Phillip McDuffie, and her brother, Thomas Arthur Johnson, grandmother, Ruth Johnson, and grandfathers, Irving Johnson and Arthur L. Junius, and her aunt, Nancy Heinkel.

Surviving are her parents, Thomas Irving and Maureen Miller Johnson, sister, Leslie Ann Johnson, grandmother, Ingeborg Junius. She leaves behind uncles and aunts; Douglas and Jeannette Johnson, of Ivins, Utah, James and Susan Tews, of Okeechobee, Fla., Lawrence Junius, of Elmhurst, Ill., and many cousins.

She leaves behind countless friends and colleagues; OWL (Ozark Writer's League) and FWCA (Fiction Writers of Central Arkansas). Trish, as did her brother, Tomas, loved the Chicago Cubs.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 21, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of The Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 North Tyler St., Little Rock, with Monsignor Royce Thomas officiating.
